The Brief
• Announce and create excitement and buzz about the 150th anniversary as well as the launch of the prestigious Rain of Stars collection
• Create awareness and excitement about the launch of Neuhaus’ new Salon Chocolat Café in Duke of York Square, Chelsea
• Drive media coverage to raise profile and awareness around the Neuhaus brand
• Increase sales and drive footfall to Neuhaus’ stores and concessions

 

The Solution
• GSC hosted a launch party to coincide the celebration of Neuhaus 150th anniversary and the new concept store opening, Salon Chocolat Café. The party was held at the new store and was co-hosted by Raymond Blanc, one of the Michelin-starred chefs contributing to Rain of Stars collection, Neuhaus CEO Jos Linkens and Neuhaus Master Chocolatier. Journalists, buyers and key influencers were invited
• Neuhaus CEO, Jos Linkens and Raymond Blanc made a speech introducing the Rain of Stars, 150th Celebrations and Raymond Blanc’s involvement while honouring the presence of His Excellency Jean-Michel Veranneman de Watervliet, the Belgian Ambassador

• GSC undertook a heavy weight media relations campaign which included sending out samples and setting up journalists’ one-on-one meetings and tastings

 

The Results
• Over 52 key press from different men’s and women’s lifestyle magazines attended the 150th event
• More than 40 pieces of quality coverage across food pages and in the ‘must-have’ and ‘style’ sections of media were secured
• Coverage highlights included, Sunday Times Style, ES Magazine, Marie Claire online, Radio 4’s Food Programme, Stella Magazine, Live Mail on Sunday, Daily Mail Weekend, Market Kitchen TV
